About me:
My name is Megan. I'm 17 years old, and a senior at Bel Air High. I love to cook, and I'm one of those people that when I started reading and knowing measurments, I was good to go. I made my first meal when I was around 8 or 9. :)

Vicki's Hush Puppies

These are great - remind me of my grandma's with one little change. I add a little milk so they're not so dry, and omit the sugar entirely. Because when they're fried up and ready to serve, I sift a bit of powdered sugar over them and it's just the slightest hint of sweetness that just puts them over the top!

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed on May 8, 2008 by Mason&MitchellsMom
I made this bread and it was gone by the end of the day. The recipe doesn't mention what amount setting to cook it on. My bread machine allows for 1, 1.5 and 2lb. loaves. I chose the 1 lb. option and it was perfect. Dipped in some oil and seasoning (pepper and romano). My sister-in-law raved about it as well. I'm making another one this week. Thanks for sharing!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed on Apr. 15, 2008 by Mason&MitchellsMom
I made this recipe as stated. No changes were needed at all. We enjoyed it so much we had it 2 weeks in a row. One for ourselves and the following week for a friend that was just out of the hospital. I realized the first week that the recipe makes so many servings I was able to make it the second week and split it with enough for both my family and hers. It is a little time consuming but is definitely worth the effort.
