About me:
I've been married since 1990 and I am the mother of a son and daughter. My husband and I used to cook most meals together (read - before the kids came along!), but I do the majority of it now. I love to cook, and I was a consultant for a company that sells cooking utensils/products for 5 years. Most days my 3 year old thinks I'm trying to poison her, but I do hear "Mom, you're the best cook" quite often. I have a very appreciative husband, and luckily, my family is quite willing to try whatever I make.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Quite bland exactly as followed. Had to tweak it up with a bit of garlic, chinese 5 spice, extra soy sauce, touch of ginger & LOTS of green onions.

Gingerbread Men

My kids LOVED these!! We followed the recipe exactly and froze in freezer for 20 mins and rolled between parchment paper. Didn't find the dough to be sticky at all. Baked for 9 minutes for a softer chewy cookie. 8 thumbs up (from 4 kids)

Almond-Topped Fish

I don't eat fish, but made this for my husband & our daughters. They said it was really good & they would love to have it again. I made it without dill, as my family doesn't like dill. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly as written. I also used fresh shredded parm cheese, as opposed to the stuff in a can.
